Overall we enjoyed our stay. The rooms were a bit dated, chairs in the room were heavily stained so we avoided sitting on them. The grounds were well kept and the views and staff were incredible! They really made us feel so welcomed and "at home" as possible. It was truly a great exoerience for our family to unwind and just relax. However, they should probably consider doing some updates in the guest room

My family stayed here to Celebrate my mother’s 90th B-day. There were 26 of us in total. Some of the group stayed in the Villas, we stayed in a Cottage. It was fully functional for our needs. Cottages are older, not 5 star quality by any means…think rustic outdoors. We did reserve a large banquet room at he Lodge one night for the celebration which was very convenient.

When i booked this property i had requested the resort or lake view. They gave me a room that was facing the parking lot. I was only there for one night, around 3am the entire resort didnt have any electricity due to a storm. I understand that we cannot control nature but i was disappointed about my experience 😕

Bad luck

Love the property. Internet did not work. Called they ask us to call provider and get fixed. Should not have been our responsibility. I had some work to do or would not have mattered. Also, just bad luck power goes out in middle of the night and was still out when we left. Just not a good trip overall.

I’m renewed each year I come for a personal retreat hear. I loved hiking the trails in the winter because it’s not so crowded. The bathroom was starting to show aging. The shower cleaning wasn’t detailed so it required my supplies. I didn’t realize that woodland view means the trees around the parking lot. There also are no butterflies when it’s overcast.

All overall very good. Property and gardens are amazing. Restaurant at the golf course had a great food, and even better staff. Dining room at the lodge had very overpriced food that was not good at all, and the service was bad. Frint desk staff was very nice and very welcoming.

Only problem is toilet would overflow, had to put towels around it. They sent a guy up three (3) times to try and unclog it. Twice Tuesday afternoon and Once Wednesday afternoon. They NEVER OFFERED to move us to another room. When we checked out this morning, i told them the toilet was having the same problem. ALSO they added over $50. To our bill for parking and Entrance into the park Where the Lodge is located. We probably won't go back.
