Amazing location on the pacific. Charming set up. Our room had a patio with an ocean view and a gas-lit small chimney fireplace. Cool bar with small bites. Staff was very friendly. Each room had a turntable and you can borrow vinyl from the bar. Great snack and drink options in the minibar. The place was very clean with a cool Spanish style decor. The bed was very comfortable. My only small feedback is the scone and muffins we had a breakfast were a bit overtoasted and hard, but the cappuccino was great!

Strategic location with amazing ocean view

We love this hotel. First of, the location is very strategic, it’s walking distance to La Jolla Cove, downtown La Jolla, and La Jolla Sunday Farmer’s Market. We booked the ocean view room with balcony, the view was amazing! We will come back to this hotel!

This was our second stay here and it was just as great as the first time. It is not a new or fancy hotel, but is well maintained and in a truly excellent location. Staff is sooo friendly and helpful! I can’t wait to come back a third time.

Exceptional Except for Guest Above Us

It is a beautiful family run hotel. Clean with paid parking and a beautiful view. The 24 hour lounge was lovely as was the pool. The staff was attentive and the elevators face the reception desk so I felt quite safe. They even provided loaner umbrellas! The pass for a local gym is included and easily walkable. The guest upstairs unfortunately drove us away early because he was live streaming in the middle of the night and slamming the balcony door.
