Absolutely perfect in every way. We stayed in a perfectly squeaky clean bungalow in the inclusive spa like property. Near town but not in town. The food the pools, everything was amazing. Best place I have ever stayed at. We got the room with a jacuzzi tub and I felt like we were in the middle of the jungle. We could hear nature all around us. We loved the fresh juices and omelet bar for breakfast and enjoyed cocktails and food by the pool too. The water is purified all throughout the resort so we didn’t get sick. We booked two resorts in La Fortuna area and I didn’t want to leave this resort for the next one.

Amazing hotel, honestly the pictures don’t do it justice! Everything about the place was perfect. The room felt very authentic and comfortable. The pool area was great, with an excellent view of the volcano and surroundings. Food was always delicious, from the breakfast, to food in the bar or the restaurant. Staff were always helpful and friendly. And the spa was incredible, with views and sounds of the rainforest making treatments even more relaxing. Would not hesitate to recommend.

A True Hidden Gem in La Fortuna – Absolutely Must Stay! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hotel Lomas del Volcán is hands down one of the best hidden gems in Costa Rica! From the moment we arrived, the service and staff were beyond amazing — warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. They made us feel at home instantly. Our room was absolutely gorgeous — spacious, spotless, and with breathtaking views of the volcano and lush surroundings. The location is perfect — tucked away just enough to feel peaceful and private, yet central to everything you might want to do in La Fortuna. Whether it's hot springs, hiking, zip-lining, or exploring the town, everything is just a short drive away. This hotel gave us a great Costa Rican experience with all the comfort and charm you could ask for. We can’t recommend Hotel Lomas del Volcán enough — a must-stay if you’re visiting the area!

So beautiful! My kids loved the pool and the wild life was out of this world. Such a gem! The beds were very comfortable and the a/c worked very well! Yoga was really good also!
