Good place to stay in central Kyoto, easy to catch trains/subway to all desired destinations. Rooms are small, but typical. Only reason it's not a 5 is the air conditioning wasn't on yet in March, so we cracked the window at night. Most indoor spaces in Kyoto and Tokyo were very hot for us. Get a fan and use it.

Convenient and accommodating

The room was ample in size and location was excellent. Access to the metro system was within a few short minutes walk. 7/11 located right down the street and just a short minutes walk there were several restaurant options as well as shopping options. The staff was very helpful and kind. Highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

It was close to everything. We were able to walk to a lot of the ok aces we wanted to see. If we need transportation, Uber was inexpensive and the train station was a 5 min walk.

Amazing! We booked the family room which can accomodates 4 people with washing machine and it feels so comfy, almost like home. The room is spacious and comes with 3 sinks. Yes, no kidding, THREE sinks. They offer free sake, coffee, lattes everyday on the lobby which was a nice touch! We will come bck again for sure

The twin beds are fantastic. A very quick walk to Karasuma Oike station (in itself 5 mins from Kyoto Station) made using it as a base of operations an absolute pleasure. Staff were lovely and, when needed, had strong bilingual skills.

We asked for a room with washing machine since we packed lightly for a 3 week trip. However their washing machine didn't work, it was way to small and the drying functiom took around 3 hours and didnt have much options to configure the temperature (shrank some clothes because it was too hot). We had to go to a laundromat a couple of blocks to finish doing our laundry, think twice before paying the extra for a room with a washin machine. Aside from that, breakfast is good and buffet style, checkin/checkout process is seamless and staff speaks english.

It’s a great hotel! Clean and quiet. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I love the stores and restaurants around the area plus the train station is just around the corner and very convenient. I will use this hotel in the future again.

Excellent hotel, fairly clean room although it seemed the room hadn’t been vacuumed after the previous occupant checked-out, but other than that, the room was clean and comfortable and in a great location. Would totally stay here again
