The hotel is located in very good location close to a lot of things. The staff was overall very, very polite and nice except for one person that was a chubby guy that’s so rude and I felt like he didn’t want to even work at the hotel , The rooms were OK, but very small size

The place was basically perfect for what we needed. Really nice and clean. The staff were super courteous and friendly and the rooms were a good size to fit our luggages. Legitimately impressed by the hotel

Great location in a quiet spot just steps away from transit and the main shopping area. Very convenient location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and quiet. The room layout was a little awkward but not the end of the world. No ice machine in the hotel, which I found odd, and no gym. Enjoyed my stay and would stay here again.

This was my first trip to Kyoto. If you’re looking for a hotel that is consistently located, has a great breakfast buffet, clean and has helpful staff who speak English in addition to Japanese, stop looking. This is it. We loved this hotel. A special acknowledgment goes out to Shiho at Registration and who helped us in many ways with all our questions regarding Kyoto. Arigato Gozaimasu!!!

From the moment you walk into this hotel it looks elegant. We had two beds and our room was very spacious. There is a Lawsons on the block next to the hotel and its and easy walk to the river, subway and endless amounts of shops and food. Loved staying here and would stay here again if in Kyoto.

Great location but not 4 star
Although the rooms were modern they were small and dark and lacked plug sockets. The dining hall in the basement was more like a school cafeteria and lacked any kind of atmosphere. The hotel however was in fantastic location and staff were attentive and friendly.

Front desk staff are very nice and helpful. We had bought the breakfast included, but after trying the breakfast, we felt it was not worth the upgrade. The restaurant options are not available in this hotel, but it is in the middle of a busy area, market, and tourist Shopping location, it was very convenient to get from the hotel

This hotel was located in the perfect area of Kyoto. There was so much to do in a walkable distance from our hotel. The hotel staff was so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it for others.
