Overall, I had a good stay! Staff were very friendly and had a small restaurant on the first floor. Rooms were clean and one stop away from Kyoto and Gion station. However I had some minor inconveniences. First, walls were very thin so heard everything in the hallway and on the street. Second, location was relatively good, around a 5-10 min walk from two stations no shops or restaurants in the area. And third, bed was rock solid! Wasn't an uncomfortable sleep, just shocked me.
