I first found this hotel on Tiktok and booked it right away for our honeymoon in Japan. It definitely did not disappoint and I wish we could’ve stayed the longer! The staff are so kind and the facilities are clean and so relaxing. We loved the late night soba and ice cream and the all you can eat salmon roe at breakfast is to die for. I can’t wait for our next trip to Japan so that we can stay here again!

The only downside to this hotel is how busy it is at breakfast! Nonetheless, the onsen and other hotel amenities (breakfast, ramen, etc) cannot be beat. It's also very close to Kyoto station which is very convenient. Overall we enjoyed our stay, just be warned you may need to wake up at 6am to get a table at breakfast.

Fabulous, clean hotel in Kyoto with one of the best onsen I experienced in Japan. Great breakfast and overall best of Japanese culture from the staff's hospitality to courtesy tabe socks in the room and soba noodles served in the evenings.

Nice, clean property. Booked 2 rooms. Queen room was small. Twin room for our sons was a nice size. Hotel, although busy, has a relaxed atmosphere with no shoes and socks only environment. Some guests walk around hotel in the provided pajamas. Breakfast was decent. Plenty of choices. Didn’t have time to try the onsen. Free ramen at night could use some meat and toppings but it's free. Staff very, very helpful.

Beautiful hotel with many perks included in our stay: free onsen, ice cream, coffee drinks, evening ramen. Breakfast buffet was fabulous, especially if you like traditional Japanese food. Our twin room was spacious and beds were very comfy. Would definitely book this hotel again!
