Really love this hotel, very near shopping and dining, everyday we are walking around nishiki market, got to pet owls and pigs. Hotel is clean and cozy as well. When i come back to kyoto i will stay here again

Kyoto gem

The location near downtown Kyoto allowed us to wander aimlessly and find fabulous food and shopping. The hotel staff are so kind and helpful. But the perks: sake tasting, bringing in a maiko to entertain and take pictures, breakfast buffet of area specialties as well as offer a public bath on site make this hotel a must return for us.

This hotel was gorgeous and had some many wonderful amenities. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the cafe in the lobby was fantastic. It is also very central in Kyoto and very close to public transit. My only complaint is that the room was very small and there was barely any space for my partner and I to comfortably open our luggage.
