Great hotel with plenty of amenities. Our room has four beds to accommodate our family of four. The bathroom is fully stocked with necessities and room is clean with excellent daily housekeeping. The only downside is the laundry washer/deyer machine doesn’t dry clothes well. Overall, we like it!

This hotel was amazing, located close to Umekoji-Kyotonshi train station for easy travel to Kyoto. A very well appointed hotel with a large family room on the 5th floor. Plenty of options at Breakfast. Beds were comfy and bathroom areas were good. Any personal items were available in the room. Also has a Spa, Swimming Pool, a rooftop terrace and washing machines. Overall a good choice for Kyoto, although be aware it isn't in the centre. Despite this it is a good hotel. Train straight to Arashiyama available from the above mentioned train station for Bamboo Forest and Japanese Monkey's.

Enjoyed this location. Very convenient to transportation and plenty of dining options including convenient stores (ex. Family Mart/7-11). Room was spacious as was the bathroom. Of the several hotels we stayed in this was the best. Good amenities. Bonus with rooftop access and public onsen. Staff were very friendly. Only downside was the property fees due upon arrival. Although we knew we might have these associated fees in each hotel we stayed in this was the only hotel that required out of the five different hotels we booked; it’s minor, but thought I would share.

Excellent hotel with excellent amenities. Washer and dryer available, but the dryers don’t dry. Easy walking distance to 7-Eleven, dry, cleaners, and public transportation. Would stay there again.

The property, itself, was okay. The staff was cold and unfriendly. The most disappointing part was the property represented itself as a smoke-free property, which is why we chose to stay there. However, it reeked of cigarette smoke, especially the elevator to the ground floor. The property literally smelled like an ashtray or casino. This was pretty uncomfortable because two of the three people in my party has asthma and cigarette smoke exacerbates our asthma.

Hotel is close to Kyoto station and in a quiet neigborhood. We booked a room sleeps 7 but we only have 4 people. Only complaint is laundry room only has 4 unit of washer/dryer. They are constantly running. We ended up going to a laundromat 6min walking from the hotel with more powerful washer/dryer.

Wonderful hotel. Can walk right out of the lobby to the train station. Great location with a park across the street which our 6 year old daughter loved. Close to the aquarium and large walkable park. 7/11 right down the street. Larger clean rooms. Hotel has a beautiful roof top area with tables and chairs.

We loved our stay here! Very convenient 5 min walk from metro by way of a covered walking bridge. Lots of restaurant dining options in the lower floors, for which the hotel also offered coupons. We ended up eating there 2 nights in a row as the food was great and didn't have to walk around looking for dining options. The onsen was great, with 3 different temperature pools and plenty of showers plus all the soaps and extras like hair ties. Onsen was spacious and clean, and the hotel provided quality comfortable set of clean onsen robes to slip into after to get back to room. Room itself was very clean and set up well. We forwarded our luggage to the hotel from Tokyo and they were already waiting for us in the rooms we checked into. The fish market is conveniently linked by walking bridge, and I went there early next morning to get some very fresh tuna and see the market stalls.

The property was so presentable, clean, open, convenient to eateries, public transportation, and attractions. We also rely safe around the area. Only one area of improvement. The washer and dryers. More is needed to satisfy the number of clients and better performance on the drying. It took us 4.5 hours for one load! That’s too much.
