Absolutely loved this hotel, our favourite one so far on our 15 day Japan trip. Location couldn’t have been better, so many shops and eateries around. Staff were very helpful and the cleanliness of the hotel was next level. Will definitely be back next time we go to Kyoto.

This hotel was perfectly located for our short stay in Kyoto. The area was vibrant with lots of shopping and great food options, steps away from the iconic Pontocho Alley. The hotel itself was very nice, and the room was surprisingly large and very comfortable. We also loved enjoying the provided linen pajamas during our stay! Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone exploring Kyoto.

Double room was very small. Should’ve booked a larger room for two people. Room faced the Main Street so it was really loud at night with sirens, motorcycles, and drunk people talking loudly.

What a well thought out hotel! Big rooms. Very stylish. Very comfortable. The complementary Japanese style pjs were a hit. Everything you forgot is available for free at the reception. Kyoto is a food desert for breakfast so it's not cheap but the hotel breakfast is the convenient option, otherwise it's the first restaurant in the alley to the right for set meals. It's in the heart of everything by noon when things open.
