Stopover for Skye

The room itself was quite comfortable. The Bathroom space was quite tight and low water pressure made showering difficult. The bar and restaurant were quite reasonable and welcoming. The hotel is a great stopover for access to Skye.

Hôtel sympathique. Nous y avons séjourné 2 nuits. L'accueil est très agréable. Le seul petit bémol, c'est la pression de l'eau au moment de la douche qui est très très faible. Hormis cela le séjour fut très agréable.

Beds were small and mattresses hard. Pillows were so flat they were none existent. Some showers were plugged. Many could hear people talking in other rooms as well as could hear a lot of footsteps. It was a place to put our heads down for “some” sleep!

Served its purpose

Hotel room was lovely, very clean with good space. The bar needs some charisma as the tables are lined up like a classroom with an unused snooker table table taking up much needed seating area. The town is less than appealing and was mostly closed when we visited

Back door to car park left open all night..not just unlocked Open ...and staff entered our room while wife had just come out the shower. Didn’t knock just burst in . And same staff member pushed past us in corridor as we were leaving. Obviously rushing to to change beds on both occasions. And his body hygiene was evident in enclosed corider ..the receptionist and restaurant staff were all lovely and very helpfull .

Htel was clean with a good bar to relax in. Room was clean, warm and the beds were comfortable. The pressure in the shower wasnt very strong. We were in room 28 on the ground floor and the room above had very loud creaking floorboards which kept us awake as theperson in the room was moving about until 2am then up at 6am! Breakfast was good, plenty choice.

Nice stay, excellent friendly staff.

The kyle hotel is much bigger than I expected. The exterior photos do not do it justice at all. The interior is much nicer although it is in need of investment and updating, such as double glazed windows and modern internal doors. The ensuite bathroom do appear to have been recently refitted.I found this to be a very good base close to the Skye Bridge with a choice of exploring the island of sky or the surrounding mainland areas.

Lovely little inn

Lovely inn right at the entrance to the Isle of Skye. Excellent food and easy parking. Room walls are thin, so you can hear your neighbors.

The size of the room and bathroom are great - very spacious! The night staff was super efficient and very friendly. The hotel presents as being old and outdated. The furniture is banged up. The bed is so uncomfortable. It was like sleeping on a rock. Parking is limited.
