The Resort is set in a stunning location with wonderful views of Mount Kinabalu from the affiliated Restaurant. A stay in one of their 2 longhouses is a must and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The only downside to our stay was that we didn't get to try their famous homemade scones as they are too popular!
To get to the hotel, you will have to drive to unpaved road for maybe less than 1km. The cottage that I stayed is clean and tidy. However, insects can be quite troublesome at night. Maybe due to its location. The restaurant is superb. Breakfast is also wonderful. The tea is a must try!
we knew it would be a Longhouse so it was a fun experience, but everything was as clean as a bamboo structure could be, bedding & towels were clean, washbasin in the room, short walk to toilets, great food at restaurant and wonderful views to Mount Kinabalu - so it was great VALUE FOR MONEY
Was very impressed with the surrounding. Mountain valley with spectacular Mt Kinabalu view in the morning. Added to that room was in good order and comfortable. Kids and family love it very much.

Nice accommodation inside Tea Garden Area
Two options of accommodations:-
1) Rooms (shared bathroom) just like at "Rumah Panjang" (traditional Long House in Sabah)
2) Cottages
The surrounding are quite cozy and suitable to relax with family.
The cafe serves delicious food with quite a lot of variety.
A few things that might need to be improved:
1) Access to the hotel from the main road is quite difficult. No tarmac road about for the access, only hard gravel road for about 2 km before reaching this hotel.
2) Internet and mobile signals are weak in this area.
Other than these, everything is okay and we had a pleasant stay here for 2 nights.

Love staying in the longhouse. Food at the restaurant was a bit blah though not very flavoursome.
We have to drive up a rocky road to reach Sabah Tea Garden. However, upon reaching the cottage, we were welcome with a spectacular view. We stayed in Lofty2 n the side window gave us the view of the Mount Kinabalu too. A great place to stay and will definitely return.
We stayed in one of the well appointed cottages that had a wonderful view of Mt Kinabalu. The location is magic, transporting you into a lost world of peace and solitude. The restaurant offers spectacular views overlooking Mt KInabalu across the tea plantations. We sat there for hours, sampling their tasty menu, mesmerized by the incoming storm and the changes of cloud cover that passed across our view. Spectacular!
Ok accomondation. 2 star hotel. The restaurant is a little away down the hill from the cottage. Laundry service. Breakfast included is malaysian breakfast (fried noodles, portidge with fish and a pot of tea).

wenn Sabah Tea Garden dann nur Bungalows
sehr unfreundliches Personal.
Worse ever...no water available when you really need it. Imagine the smells when you go inside the toilet and ni water to flush when you done doing business it smells like worse
