We had a fabulous time at Hotel Kaneyamaen. Our room was extremely spacious, the food and amenities were amazing. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay near Mt Fuji.
The staff is the best. They are the definition of hospitality! There’s not a single thing I can complain about them. Only reason I did not give all 5s is due to cockroach in our room that left quite an impression on us during our stay. But even then the staff gave and took care of it for us. Aside from that small thing the property itself is beautiful and peaceful, it is honestly the perfect getaway.
Fujisan Onsen Hotel Kaneyamaen is a serene retreat boasting a captivating Japanese garden and a mesmerizing drum performance that truly immerses guests in local culture. The ambiance is enchanting, complemented by this unique entertainment. While the experience is exceptional, it would be beneficial for the front desk staff to enhance their English communication skills to ensure a smoother experience for international visitors. Overall, a delightful stay with unforgettable highlights!
We loved our stay! Wish we could have stayed for more than one night. We were warmly welcomed and they checked us in a bit early. The room was beautiful and clean. Loved the onsen bath with a view of Mt Fuji on our balcony! The ryokan also offered great amenities: free tea, drum show, free wine bar with snacks, yukata to borrow or rent, and the rooftop onsen with views of Mt Fuji! It was a very relaxing and wonderful stop in the middle of a 2 week long Japan vacation
This is such a Beautiful hotel. The grounds are breathtaking, the room was a traditional ryokan. Get a room with a personal hot spring if possible. Such a treat! The dining experience was top notch. If you want a traditional Japanese experience this hotel provides that.
This onsen offers an exceptional experience, combining traditional Japanese hospitality with modern comforts. The service is outstanding, with attentive staff ensuring every detail of your stay is perfect. The food is a highlight, featuring beautifully presented kaiseki meals made from fresh, seasonal ingredients.
Rooms are spacious and comfortable, blending traditional design with modern amenities. Many offer private onsen baths with breathtaking views of Mt. Fuji. The serene ambiance, lush gardens, and peaceful onsen create an atmosphere of complete relaxation.
Overall, it's the perfect retreat for a luxurious and tranquil Japanese getaway.
Very nice property. Large gardens, fountains, waterfalls everywhere inside and out around the property. Has its own shuttle to Mt Fuji station or other stations in the area. Staff were amazing. Free kimono and Japanese pajama rental. Free show and bingo after at 8pm. The meal package was amazing, breakfast buffet was massive, dinner was a 7 course meal. Also, a free wine lounge with snacks and alcohol available. Can't say enough good things, would go again.
Very traditional Japanese hotel surrounded by all natural forests. Kids friendly, a lot of entertaining events and shows. Beautiful stuffs with excellent service. My daughter forgot her little bag at hotel, they even help us sent it to the bus station before we go back to Tokyo! We will definitely come back again!
