Outstanding Stay!

Everything about my recent stay at the Crown Plaza in downtown Knoxville was excellent! The lobby of the hotel is beautiful and checking in was simple. The room was spotless and offered a beautiful view of the city. Parking was convenient. The stay was perfect!

The property itself was fine, but I was surprised that there were no recycling containers in the room or throughout the hotel. Does the city not recycle? Also, the American flag was a bit frayed and unkempt looking, should be better upkeep of the flag

There was staff and others talking and slamming doors outside of our room from 6:30-10am. The blackout curtains didn't close flesh with the wall so also no darkness. So much for sleeping in on our one night 😔 The location was nice for walking. For being the Crowne Plaza, I thought it would be a top notch stay but I was a bit disappointed.

We stay at the Crowne Plaza every year for an annual event. The staff are friendly and helpful, and several have been there a long time. It is comfortable and close to the restaurants and nightlife of Gay St and Old City. The breakfast is also very good.

For the rate that we paid per night, the room itself was TERRIBLE. The closet was so small, the ironing board took up all of the space. There were no drawers for storage. No luggage racks. Only one bedside table and lamp. Only one chair in the room. The air conditioner make all types of god awful noises when it was running. I have seen better road side motel rooms that were nicer. Very disappointing.
