Very close location to beach access and rooms were appropriately clean if not old the older side.
Complimentary breakfast is simple fruit medley with bottled water (apple sauce, Wal-Mart fruit bar, and a small juice box). Outdoor pool was present but was across from the hotel, locked off, drained and closed down.
On my last night, key card had completely failed on room door. Told the front desk and it eventually opened up with a set of manual keys but had to hastily pack my things so I could unpack them in another room. Thankfully it was just across the other room, but I now there's a sizeable tear of paint on the bathroom door and toilet with a perpetual drip coming from the tank. A mini fridge was present in this room; the freezer door was missing, but the fridge door itself actually Closed. Finding parking wasn't an issue but having many of side entrance doors open without a need for a key is rather discerning, despite the security cameras scattered throughout. A sign that was taped to the door stated it was only for one way in but I think it was meant as a deterrent.
Towards the back of the hotel you can find a handful of discarded, broken beachgear from a boogie board to a beach caddy with half of it's wheels, just to the left of the weeds that are scattered across the landscaping.
Throughout the stay, it seemed like facemask policy was optional for either visitors or staff.
For the low price and availability vs other hotels in the area it seemed adequate.
