The room was dated. Wallpaper falling off walls. Could not access regular tv/satelitte tv for local news, no info guides about services in hotel or any local food/attractions/conveniences nearby, the complementary breakfast was sad to say the least (a bag to go with fruit, yogurt, granola bar, juice box and cookie) and should not be advertised as a breakfast, outside of property was not clean, the outside age of building was showing a lot, the hallways had zero circulation of air and was extremely muggy, the stair and hallway rugs were well worn and needed addressing, parking was not convenient what so ever since it was limited, the lampshades are old/ripped/showing age and lastly our key cards were forever faulty and needing to be addressed repeatedly at front desk.

No elevator, parking lot was empty, but staff said no availability on the1st floor. For the advertisement for Continental breakfast you were given a paperbag with a yogurt, granola bar and a small juice box. Coffee, apples and bananas are available all day.

The staff at check-in was kind, courteous and polite. He even offered great advice when I asked about specific things we were looking for in the area. Though the building is older and is showing wear, it was generally clean and well cared for. The only complaint I have is that there was hair, either from the cleaning staff, the cleaning cloths used, or the previous guests on the bathroom floor, in the tub and on the clean and folded bath mat over the tub. The grab and go breakfast was basic, but adequate with yogurt, granola bars, breakfast sandwiches, fresh fruit and a variety of beverages on offer. Check-out was a breeze, but the only downside was that no one was there to voice our concerns to about the hair. Overall, a good stay.

Over priced and paranoid. It was a place to crash for a night while on an adventure. In comparison it was cheaper than most surrounding areas rooms, it was meh for clean. Most of the staff where great. I did go out at 610 for the breakfasts and there was nothing out there so that was annoying. Ill probably stay again if im passing through and need a spot to stay if the rooms cheap. Preferably get something nice. Not to mention all the trade workers getting up early in the morning with paper thin walls. Just over all meh.

I had stayed in this location, previously December 2024 the staff was excellent. I had an extremely late checkout which I requested overall experience was fantastic. However, this time…I stayed was extremely disappointing annd disgusted. I don’t have plans of staying there again. The staff was excellent to a point. I asked for late checkout and needed further due to medical meetings, but, they were not being accommodating. the last time I had stayed, they were extremely accommodating and understanding. This time rooms were horrible, disgusting no dryer in bathroom, stains in bathtub, blood stains on the carpet and walls. Basically the room was damaged from top to bottom. I understand they’re hungry for money, but they should not have that room access by any guest. It should be closed off and repaire. I asked numerous times to be changed to a different room and was not accommodated. There were holes in the wall, broken pictures, broken lamps. The paint was coming right off the walls, there is graffiti on the walls. I had asked to switch rooms, buMy overall experience was a very horrible experience erience. The heat and AC unit was not working. I had to call staff the fridge and microwave were not plugged in. I had to do it myself. I explained that I was an insulin dependent diabetic and because the fridge was not plugged in it was warm so the staff said to me did I turn it up? That is not my responsibility

Comfortable and quiet and clean in an older hotel. This hotel needs love-fine—-but there are so many little things that could be done to make improvements without spending money or much time! Like re-glue the falling wallpaper. Promised free breakfast online and the sign outside advertises this but there was no breakfast. We were told it’s “grab and go” when we checked in…fine…we will take it back to our room. Went to the front to grab breakfast and there were apples and bananas and some yoghurt! What? That is not breakfast! So cheap and rather dishonest! Had to run to Timmies. Met others in the parking lot doing the same as us!!! Key card lock did not work well at all! Had to replace our cards twice! The first time the manager asked what I did with the card “put it by your phone? Have a magnet?” What? I walked down the hall with the cards in my hands! That is not respectful service. This place has promise and won’t be fancy without some work but it could be so much more with a bit more attention to services they do have control over.

This property definitely needs some attention paid to the physical plant. It is a bit shabby and down-at-heel, particularly in the hallways. However, it was clean and my room received daily attention; the staff was outstanding. From the front desk to the room attendant(s), everyone was friendly, attentive and courteous. That goes a long way to making one's stay pleasant!
