We were very disappointed in our stay at DoubleTree Kitchener. The room wasn’t clean—stains on the sheets, hair in the shower. Noisiness made for a bad night sleep as well. Random beeping in the hall all night, doors slamming. Loud laughter and talking from other rooms well into the night. Beds were very uncomfortable as well. For the price we paid per night, I’ve been more impressed with places we’ve paid half for.

The paint was peeling in our bathroom on every wall and the bathtub was dingy. Starbucks and breakfast should be open sooner. Starbucks machine was broken in the lobby and the elevator was getting maintenance on a Friday night when it was busy. Pool bathroom could use a clean.
Waitstaff in restaurant was nice .
We loved everything about the hotel

Our room had a broken bed, broken towel rack and seemed quite dirty with hair all around the bathroom. It also looked like there were smudges of dirt/ grime on the bedside table etc.
I really appreciated how kind and helpful the hotel staff were during my stay. They were able to offer me my room early, which was so appreciated after a very long day of travel. I was also able to print my airline info with them going out of their way to help me out. It made my trip so much more relaxing when it could have added stress. Will stay there again if back in the area!

The young man at the counter for check in was very kind and helpful!
From check in to our check out, our stay was a Fabulous experience, staff very knowledgeable and friendly, if we needed anything all we had to do was ask, I would recommend this Hotel to anyone.
