The staff is amazing! The hotel room I was first in was dirty. Tissues on the floor. Drops of something on the floor, there was a pubic hair on the sheets. They did upgrade me to the 3rd floor but in that room, 324, the toilet isn’t attached to the floor and it bangs up against the wall when you get up off of it. The staff was really nice and understood why I was perturbed. But the hotel needs some upgrading and cleanliness.

To keep your hotel top notch replace the torn shower curtains. Torn looks cheap and dirty. Make sure to check restrooms in lobby for refill of toilet paper. There are many employees from what I saw and the lobby restrooms were not maintained.

The front desk/service was nice and understanding. The hotel itself lacked air conditioning. Air conditioning is essential in South Texas. The rooms have their own small unit, but it's working extra hard to somewhat work since the halls are so hot and humid. The hotel really needs on working on putting central air conditioning throughout the hotel and this would help the rooms cool off. My family and I were just passing by. We left. We decided to drive 2 more hours to our cool house instead. The hotel knows this is an issue. They had boxes of air con. units in the hall near the elevator. I was going to add a picture, but it's not letting me upload it.

I didn’t stay at this property, however my family and I drove three hours and when we got there they told us that they were overbooked. The manager would not come to the property to help resolve the issue. While waiting in the lobby six other customers were complaining that the air had gone out in their rooms. Needless to say that I was very distraught and disappointed with the circumstances, Hilton and the way the manger who mishandled the situation. She told me over the phone that she would be there the next morning by 8am and couldn’t help me for the night. I will be issuing a formal complaint against this particular property.
