Other guests left their small dog in their room and it would bark continually. The front desk staff called the guest but they continued to vacation without their dog. This was not the hotel fault except allowing pets that are not properly supervised. I probably won’t stay here again.

Perfect Fall Beach Getaway
This place was perfect for a quick beach getaway. They have a wonderful beach and gazebo you can enjoy before the beach. I booked a partial view room and it was basically full ocean view. I loved Kill Devil Grill across the street for lunch/dinner also. Dan was awesome!! Can’t go wrong with the free breakfast or High Stack pancakes down the road!

We checked in got to our room at 9pm and left. Anyone could get into the building you did not need a key card to enter. The halls where extremely tiny and hard to get luggage through along with the carpet looking nasty and smelled bad. Got to our room and it was not as pictured at all. And was not clean. Gnats where all over the room. We went back and talked to the lady checking people in. She said there was nothing she could do and could not refund us. Needless to say we where out of $200 and they did not care. Would not recommend to anyone. I was extremely disappointed. We ended up at a Holiday Inn.

Lots of remodeling has happened here and it looks great. The room and properly very clean. Extremely hot water, bed great shape, breakfast lots of variety. The only negative mark is the walls are a litlle thin of hearing rooms ear you but not bad to leave a negative mark. Will definitely be back again.

Fantastic Stay!!!
Highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Outer Banks. The service was excellent, the room was fantastic, just perfect, and looked exactly the same as the picture and description. The location couldn’t have been better. We couldn’t have asked for me. Oh, and I LOVE supporting small businesses. You will not be disappointed

We had such a great stay this past week! The immediate access to the beach, the perfect location in town and the absolutely amazing housekeeping staff made our vacation one to remember!

The employees were very helpful and kind. My room was clean and nicely decorated. I appreciated that the floors were tiled instead of carpeted, which is not always the case at beachside hotels. The bed was very comfortable, there were plenty of towels provided and the bathroom was clean with good lighting. Most of the guests were Senior and middle aged couples and a few families. I travelled alone but felt very safe. There’s a restaurant, The Kill Devil Grille, conveniently located directly across the street. The food was tasty and the staff was amazing. There are also other restaurants within walking distance and a Publix Grocery Store and Target less than a 10 minute ride away. It really is the perfect little spot and will be my first option whenever I return to the area.
