I wouldn't say it qualifies to call itself a "Resort". The shower leaked water all over the bathroom floor, not just a little ALOT. Other than the tiny coffee maker in the room that uses these tiny little coffee pods which we didn't bother using, there isn't any place in the "Resort" to get coffee without walking a few blocks. Even the cheapest of hotels have coffee and most have breakfast in the lobby area. Not here, you need to walk a few blocks. I wanted to buy a can of coke or pepsi, they only have 1 vending machine, and it ripped me off, put $2 in, it was out of everything, pushed the button to get my money back, I got 6 dimes and a penny back, was told by the desk staff that they don't own the machine, they are not responsible for it. (Even though it is on their site) We got the "Deluxe King Balcony" Room, it was small, not sure what was deluxe about it. I will say the staff was very friendly and as helpful as they could be. If we go back, wouldn't stay here, would pick something closer to Old Town where all the action is, pay less, get a hotel that has the amenities you would expect.

Room too small for $600 a night. No chair, just bed. Not enough dresser space for clothes. No vanity in bathroom. Bathroom door would not close. Noisy room. Charged $60 a day for amenities which was towels and 2 cheap water bottles. Not worth it. Let hotel know my concerns day after checking never heard back from them. Never would stay here again.

The location and grounds are fantastic. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance. The only downside was the roosters outside our door crowing at 6 am. I understand that they are protecting and literally all over the island, but there has to be a way to manage the noise better. We ran our bathroom fan and wore earplugs but still could hear them in the morning. For reference, our room was the King Ocean View near the Shores pool. If you are wanting ocean view, stay further away from the pool.
