The location and atmosphere were fantastic. The lush gardens were gorgeous and they even had a turtle and koi pond!!!! My complaints with the resort might be minor to some people but important to me. I booked in May for December trip. Since booking, the resort fee and parking fee went up. When coming in, was told I would get lower price but was charged full price and they won’t reimburse me. I originally booked 2 queen beds with garden view lanai, requested change to king size with same view. They gave us queen beds with view of parking lot, and still charged higher price for king bed. The beds were very squeaky so every time one of us moved, it woke the other one up!

Great shower
Hotel was amazing. The shower was amazing. The view was horrible - We had a Patio on the ground floor facing the parking lot. Key West was not our style so we ended up canceling the remaining days and going back to Islamorada. I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again unless I had a Oceanview room and that you’re gonna pay an arm a leg for so if Key West is your style, it’s a great place to stay
