We are a family of 4 with a 12 and 14-year-old. We only stayed one night, but loved Ibis Bay! We were a little concerned about some of the negative reviews, but did not find them to be true. Room was beautiful, bright and clean, the view outside the room was so pretty (beach and our own hammock), transportation to the other end of Key West was convenient and easy, the animals were fun - especially Lexi the talking and dancing bird!! Very easy to access and park when driving in from the Keys, and then we never used our car except when driving to the airport, which is only 10 minutes away. Great location, nice staff, adequate breakfast. I would definitely recommend and wish we could have stayed another night!

The property is conveniently located and you can take the free shuttle to two stops which is helpful. Restaurant onsite has great food. Free continental breakfast gives you what you need to start your day. The rooms are very small as is the shower. It’s very hard to maneuver in the room with two people. Smaller than a college dorm room. If you are okay with that, I recommend staying.

We really enjoyed this property. Could have been a bit cleaner in the room, but overall was fairly priced for the area and a real nice restaurant located on the property. The pool area was very nice also. Shuttle service was timely and convenient. Especially since driving and parking in this area is a big headache!

Woke up early to two people fighting outside my room, verbally at oh dark 30, carpet on the floor was really dirty as we normally take our shoes off when we come in and our feet turned black. I did mention it to the Hotel as we left that that the carpet needs to be replaced or shampooed like four times! There are no shelves whatsoever in the bathroom so we had no place to put our bathroom supplies for the five days we were there. I suggested they put some shelves up in the bathroom. The room is extremely tiny, with no refrigerator, safe, or microwave. The pool area was nice. The bar/restaurant on site was nothing much to speak of, breakfast was very little so we went downtown every day for breakfast and had some awesome breakfasts downtown. On our first day we went to the bar to order a drink and they didn’t know how to make the first three drinks we mentioned. The food, which was a seafood in general seemed very expensive. Didn’t see much crowd in there ever. Oh, and a coconut fell out of the tree onto a car below and shattered the sunroof! It was right below our room, so I got a hold of a staff member out the parking lot and they came out and ended up cutting all the coconuts out of all the trees that afternoon. Unfortunate incident, that they took care of it. But just beware, don’t park under a palm tree with coconuts in it, anywhere!

Toilet leaked continuously on the bathroom floor very unsanitary,very little room to park , everything was an extra charge, buildings are run down ,the back side of the buildings are shoddy need repair ,but they found a need to charge an extra $100 For "resort fees(not shown when booking) !never again,this place should be rated a "ZERO "!

A "beachfront" hotel is a big stretch. Although the staff is friendly, and the free shuttle into town is convenient, the facility is a total dump, and the pictures are generous highlights. This place needs TLC. I was very disappointed for what I paid for and what little this place provided in return. The room smelled like mold, the bathroom is super tiny, my "courtyard view" was a parking lot. Don't be fooled by the marketing. This is not a resort by any means. Its an expensive motel with jet ski rentals.

The lady working the front desk was great when we arrived. The room itself was nice. Our Air conditioner didn't work. We were only there 1 night but it was 80 in our room. We couldn't sleep it was so hot and muggy. We told a different lady at the desk and she wouldn't even look at us and said she would let maintenance know. The lady bartender at the pool was nice but was soo slow. There was 6 of us and only ones there and waited for a beer over 20 minutes. We were going to get another beer but couldnt get her attention. Again it was just us 6 there. So we left and went somewhere else to get a beer.

We liked the restaurant at the hotel and the grounds were comfortable with hammocks. Staff was nice. What we didn’t like was the noisy A|C. The bus wasn’t working and the shuttle van wasn’t large enough to hold everyone.

The property was safe and quiet. The room was comfortable. The bathroom was very small even for two people. The toilet bowl dhould be replaced because it is very low. In fact the whole bathroom should be gutted and renovated woth a larger shower and updated toilet and sink. The ceiling in the bedroom seems to need to be fixed. It is sagging and it is very visible. I eas only here for a few days. I did like the shuttle which was available all day till 10pm. The pool was clean and breakfast was great

For the price I expected way more. The rooms are beat up and hobbled together. There's no place to store anything, no surface space. The hills in the bathroom are all broken. There's no beach, it's sand thrown on the side of the canal. The front desk woman was curt and dismissive.

Very Expensive for what you get

Beachfront was expensive everywhere in KeyWest but i would pay a little more. There is no coffee in the rooms. This is beachfront know you cant get in the water. It is also a long way from all the action so you need to uber or have a car if you plan to go anywhere except Duval street. The older skinny front desk lady was rude and not happy about being at work.
