My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Fairfield. Staff was friendly, free simple breakfast, nice pool and bar area. Only thing was rooms could be cleaner. It needed some dusting in and around the vents.

Breakfast was so blah and disgusting. Rooms were musty and need some serious updates. As a lifetime Marriott Bonvoy member I am very disappointed in the quality of this hotel at almost $450 /night.. the only good thing happening at this hotel is the shuttle to downtown.. and staff were nice.

There is no way this is a Marriott Bonvoy hotel. It is completely run down. The lobby is ok and the pool are is nice. Free breakfast was ok, basic. And there were no problems with the staff. polite and helpful. But every where else you look. it’s just terrible. Broken tiles in the elevator. Paint coming off all over the floors. Bed was lumpy and uneven. Pillows had no support. Bathroom was missing caulking in the shower. The AC was super loud and obnoxious. Between the Ac and terrible bed and pillows, couldn’t sleep at all. Maintenance working on the roof at 8:00am making all sorts of banging noise for at least 2 hours. Paid about $600 per night to stay here. It wasn’t even a hotel but looks like a converted motel with studio apartments. This is just a run-down, worn out Rodeway Inn or Motel 6 is the best way I can describe it. We were ready to leave at 2:00am the last morning as we couldn’t sleep at all. BEWARE! Don’t stay here for the exorbitant prices they charge. I wouldn’t have paid $50 to spend the night here, sorry.

The Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in Key West was conveniently located and overall clean. For a property this old, it’s in relatively well maintained and there were employees actively painting and cleaning. I would say there needs to a remodel sometime soon and added maintenance to the rooms. There were loose shower and vanity faucets alone with towel bars and broken floor tile.

Sinking ship.

It was an expensive stay for the quality of services provided. Additional fees were imposed that were not reflected in the booking rate. Only one washer was available in a filthy laundry room. Nice staff, but they seem to be working in a sinking ship.

When we checked in, there was mold behind the toilet it took 30 minutes to get our keys, correct Maid Service did not come at all for three days overall it was very poor and would not go back

Chose this motel for a quick weekend with friends in Key West. It was not inexpensive (Key West pricing in general), but seamed reasonable compared to other area hotel and AirBnB accommodations. The pool and courtyard looked lovely and lush. I have to admit I never had time to check it out though. We really only used the hotel for sleeping. The room was clean enough; clean linens and towels, comfy beds, etc. But one night we did see a bug skittering across the floor when we opened the door and turned on the lights. I tried not to freak...it's Florida, after all. But I would have liked to see the external walkways swept and mopped occasionally. Dirt and grime had built up along the edges and corners, which did not help the overall impression of cleanliness.

Needs renovation

Pleasant staff and very nice pool area, convenient location but hotel needs a serious renovation. Cracks on the floor, door to our room needed to be cleaned, textured walls were very unattractive. Breakfast was adequate. Shuttle to downtown was a great amenity.

Bummed

We paid for a suite and we were bummed about the accomodations. It was clean and staff was very friendly. Outlets near the bathroom did not work as well as in the area by couch. The security latch was held on by one screw. Again staff was great!
