When we first arrived we were early for check in but they told us we could leave our car & come back at the time of check in. When we checked in the same gentlemen showed us around the gardens & to our room. Very beautiful court yard to sit in the morning & drink coffee. You can be entertained by kiss kiss the resident cat. Breakfast was wonderful. We recommend the Key West cooking school for food & entertainment one of the best key lime pie.

Staying here was great. It is right on Duval Street, right in the middle of downtown. The hotel is wonderful, separated into four small buildings with two floors each. The "backyard" has a nice seating area circling a small fountain, a lush garden with some seating, a hammock, and a small pool. It is super cute! There is also a small building in the back for breakfast. There was even a cat there in the morning when we went to eat breakfast. Before you check in, you park on the side, which is kind of tight/difficult. It might be manageable for smaller cars or if there aren't many other cars in there already. But, after check in, you're able to move your car to the back of the property (there is a door to the property in the back as well). The lady who worked in the office gave us a small tour when we checked in, which was very nice of her. The bathroom can get a little humid as there is not vent/fan in there. There is a small window, but we didn't want to open it because passer-bys in case other residents could see inside (our room was on the central walkway of the hotel). The mat on the shower is a little gross, and the shower is cramped (not much room to move), but it's really not a big deal. I would totally recommend this place!

Wow - this placeis SUPER Nice! The back garden area is an oasis! The check-in staff was great. The coffee/breakfast area staff were super friendly! We were going to get breakfast down the street untill we saw all the fresh fruit and belgian wafflles made to our liking 👍.

Being on Duval Street, it puts you close to dining, sightseeing, shopping, and nightlife, but once you go through the gate and you’re on the property, it’s like you’re in an oasis. It has beautiful shaded gardens, it was lovely! The property is old (which adds to the charm) but there is no elevator, so if stairs are an issue ask for a ground floor room. We would definitely go back.

We stayed at Duval house for 2 nights in mid May. The hotel is a historic building on Duval Street and while it is quite old everything is clean and maintained to a high level. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and offer a free welcome drink (water, beer, seltzers). You may also purchase beverages for a very reasonable price. The location is very convenient as you are right on the edge of the really busy parts of Duval St. It was quiet at night but, close enough to walk right to the action. Overall it was a pleasant stay and we would return.

The staff was super friendly. Easy check in with a complimentary cold adult beverage. The breakfast was an assortment for everyone's taste. The gardens were beautiful however they come with pests i.e. caterpillars, flies that enter your rooms if you don’t close the doors quickly. The rooms / bathrooms were clean . Location was perfect. We would stay there again on our next visit to the Keys.
