It was extremely convenient to my trip on "the glass-bottom boat." The property was tucked back off the main highway but easy to get to. Although the area seemed to be a very busy neighborhood, our room was quiet and comfortable to stay in.

Breakfast was plentiful and adequate continental. Mattress comfortable. Lots of clean, fluffy towels. Elevator for transporting heavy suitcases upstairs. Plumbing and furniture worn out. Parking not enough. Marina activity enjoyabke. Right off Keys hiway.

Convenient location on a canal with close by

Attractive location on a canal with bars and restaurants next door. Good, simple Continental breakfast. Nice having a room facing the canal.

The property needs some love and attention. The manager was very nice. The location was close to Rainbow Reef who we were diving with. The pool was a nice size. Althoigh we did not take advantage of the partnership hotels right there, it was a nice option. It was walkable to the small plaza at the end of the street.

I was very disappointed in the quality and upkeep of the room. Expedia guests appear to be possibly in a different category. I travel once a month to the Keys on business and was hoping MDM would be the best spot for me. Sadly, I do not think that is the case. The front door did not fully close, the blinds were dusty, the floor had not been swept/mopped, the closet doors did not close, the toilet seat was broken and the toilet handle had to be jiggled to start filling the tank. I am debating on whether or not to cancel my March reservation. On a positive note, I arrived early and the young lady at the desk was very pleasant and was able to accommodate my early arrival.
