I had a mixed experience during my stay. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly, which was a major plus. However, I felt that the property itself was in need of an upgrade, particularly considering the price point. Unfortunately, my room had a strong musty smell, which prompted me to purchase air fresheners to mask the odor. Additionally, I was disappointed to find that the pool closed at 7 pm, as this was one of the main amenities that drew me to this property. With some renovations and adjustments, I believe this hotel has the potential to exceed expectations.

Older motel poorly maintained needs substancial updating all around. Room was clean, traffic noise subsided after 10pm. Staff very friendly. Bed comfy. OK for a place to spend 1 night

The room was out of 1980 maybe .The bathroom was scumy,as the floor, walls and ceiling , there were lights on in the entry way for the rooms ,this kept the room lit up and hard to get sleep .

It should be a crime to list a hotel room for rent that smells this musty. It made my lungs itch. This is housing for local service industry workers MASQUERADING as a hotel. You can tell by the bicycle chained outside one of the rooms, the deskstand outside another (by the street) with potted flowers and a used tired right beside it, as well as the window to one of the rooms on the opposite side of the reception office that’s decorated with knick knacks, stickers and other items. Obviously someone’s permanent housing. You don’t see any tourists walking around, in the pool or coming back from an excursion. I immediately asked Expedia and the hotel for a refund. The receptionist gave a reply that you can tell she’s had to say it over a hundred times “have to wait for manager on Monday”. We left within an hour or 2, booked a much nicer hotel last second right outside the newer hotel in the parking lot. Expedia should be embarrassed to list this room. If you go, check the posted images on the property’s page on Expedia. They threw in pictures of nice looking rooms (where’d they get those pictures?) mixed in with real pictures. Carpets haven’t been changed since Clinton administration. So to conclude: I left shortly after check in, had to book another hotel last minute and ended up paying for both hotels (absolutely worth it) because Key Largo Inn would not refund me.

Most staff were okay, but one older employee was outrageously rude and unhelpful. We tried to add one more person to our booking, and he refused, citing “regulations,”. Fine—I started looking for another room online, but I’m convinced he messed with the system because the available rooms vanished after I refreshed the app. That forced me to book directly through him at a higher rate. It was sneaky and dishonest. The hotel itself is a wreck—old, poorly maintained, with a damp, musty smell that hits you the moment you walk in. Everything feels outdated and neglected. This was an absolute disaster of a stay, and I’ll never come back. I’d warn anyone else to stay far away too.

Older hotel, what I would call a motel. There was parking and overall it was clean and nice to sit at tables by the pool. Lots of trees and shade. Breakfast a little meager but that is the price of staying at a hotel for the best rate.

This inn is in total disrepair. The walls are dingy. The toilet in the bathroom ran all night and the tub dripped water constantly. A great deal of water had collected under the fiberglass of the tub, creating very dangerous shower conditions..like trying to stand on a waterbed. I was moved to another room that had a dripping sink faucet and a very badly rusted, stained tub.

The only thing i appreciate there are no roaches. Everything is bad with that hotel. Bad condition. The room is noisy. Ugly. Not well maintenance. One of the worst hotel than i ve ever been.
