Amazing stay at the Grange. Guest house was immaculately clean, room was lovely, breakfast was delicious, nothing was too much trouble for the hosts. Michael went above and beyond with his interaction between us and the other guests, he was very friendly, helpful and gave advice about local walks and activities. Will definitely book again.

Just an amazing hotel, run by a lovely family. It’s in a fantastic location, easily walk into Keswick. Immaculately clean, great service and wonderful breakfasts. It’s perfect!!! Our second stay and we’ll definitely be back!

Tasteful treat in the Lakes

Such a treat to stay here. The mountain views from the terrace, glorious sunsets, a beautiful house with serene interiors and excellent service, always with a smile from the family members who work here. Breakfasts here are delicious. At last, a chef who knows how to cook tomatoes and mushrooms! And the marmalade! Just perfect.

Wonderful!

Fantastic hosts, couldn’t do enough for you. Breakfasts absolutely delicious and service excellent. Bed comfy. Everything spotlessly clean. Fabulous view from our bedroom window and lovely sunny terrace. Only drawback was our bathroom - shower and toilet in small cupboard with washbasin in the bedroom but would not stop us going again as everything else was perfect. Can highly recommend.

The common area and breakfast may live up to 5-star, but definitely not our executive double room which is in the attic, part of the room has very low ceilings, we bumped our heads many times. The worst part was the bathroom, there were two steps up and down, the sink was tiny, the area to stand before the sink was so small and I constantly bumped my leg on the stairs behind.

Lake Disrict accomodation

Not your usual B & B. The Grange is a magnificant building set in a wonderful location.No lift to upper floors but reception were really helpful in relocating us to an upgrade, superb, ground floor room. Very clean with all the amenities Excellent breakfast in pleasant dining room. Afternnoon tea and cake laid on when returning from day"s activity. If looking for accomodation in Lake Disrict, we highly recommend the Grange Country House.
