Clean and tidy hotel with comfy rooms. Evening meal menu looked good but a bit steep at £45pp (3 course) without drinks. Great location to explore Keswick and surrounding areas.
We met with family members at the hotel to celebrate an anniversary. The staff were extremely professional and welcoming.
The hotel sits in impressive grounds, and the outlook from our mountain view hotel suite was 'picture postcard' attractive. There were also plenty of lounge areas to admire the views.
The food offering was delicious and beautifully presented.
In short, we really enjoyed our stay.
Just made us feel special
And the food was amazing
Definitely going back

We love visiting this place but some of the fixtures & fittings don’t well represent the place eg cheapest plastic, loose fitting toilet seats, cheap floor Lino, poorly fitted, mouldy badly done silicone around inside shower tray. Things shouldn’t look tatty at this level. Staff all brilliant. Breakfast brilliant gardens beautiful. Parking for motorbikes brilliant. Location perfect
Absolutey lovely stay, the staff were all brilliant and the breakfast was amazing, lovely comfortable bed, the room was a little dated but very clean the shower was excellent too. Definitely stay again.

The room we stayed in was an old waiting room in a railway station badly needing an uplift the paint work and the state of the bathroom we’re filthy
But generally the staff were very good
Have visited this hotel numerous times and it never fails. The staff always go the extra mile and the food is exceptional. Added to this are the walks in Keswick and the town itself. A perfect getaway.
This was a gorgeous hotel in a great location. We were able to park our car very easily and walk into town for dinner each night. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. We had a great 3 night stay here.
Staff, in particular Diana, were excellent when my husband wasn't feeling too well. Did all they could, even provide a plate of cold cuts etc in case he felt better later on
We’ve just enjoyed another great stay at the Keswick Country House Hotel. The lovely staff, a very good evening meal and easy parking means we return every year.
Have stayed here many times and never fails to impress. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were amazing with a first class dinner menu with plenty of choice. The lounge bar was comfortable and well appointed. We had lunch and drinks in the beautiful gardens as the weather was exceptional. All members of staff are friendly and helpful a welcome change to the surly staff you get at most places these days. We will return again and again. For me personally as I have a dog phobia I like the fact that dogs are not allowed in the main building or in the bar. Highly recommended.
