This Best Western in Kemmerer is the best choice in town, which is 10 years old. It is fine but not exceptional. One cannot find exceptional in this part of the world. Still, they make every effort to make it clean and comfortable with an emphasis on a good breakfast. The staff was great and we enjoyed the indoor pool.

We stayed here when visiting Fossil Butte National Monument and fossil hunting at the American Fossil Quarry. A good value for money hotel with good breakfast. We ordered pizza from the Scroungy Moose, which was excellent.

Nice well maintained property. Easy access to Fossil Butte National Monument... about a 12 min drive? Breakfast was great, but nothing compared to the mexican restaurant in town that the receptionist recommended. Delicious!! Completely in the middle of nowhere, and yet, best chicken tortilla soup ever.

Love the BW Plus hotels!!
Chrystal at the front desk was nice and efficient at checking us in. We had a lovely quiet room with everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable with good pillows. Nice amenities.

The Hotel was great, it was located very close to the Fossil areas and the staff were very helpful. They even had boxes I could use for my fossils. The breakfasts were great with a lot of selection. The only very minor issue was the sign for the property was a bit small and we drove past the first time.

Trouble with card not working some door's we weren't alone with that issue. Borrowed lysol from front desk it was the nasty musty carpet. Beds were alright a little hard. Lady at desk said she was alone and was overwhelmed told us not to get in hot tub needed filling?

We were very familiar with this property and have always loved staying here. However, property now is under new management. Desk clerk was not friendly. Was very short with me while checking in and also with other guests checking in and others asking questions. Upon coming down for coffee that evening, she still was unfriendly to me and others. Perhaps she was just having a bad day but her attitude doesn’t reflect well on the Kemmerer Best Western Fossil Country Inn. On the other hand, this facility is very clean, well maintained and by far, the best place to stay in Kemmerer - the others don’t compare. The included breakfast is always great and eating area is always clean. I would highly recommend this facility (and hope that the desk clerk is having a better day for your visit).

A wonderful stay. The check in was good, and the facility is new and sparkling! We had a lovely room and everything was great (very clean and comfortable). The breakfast was very good, including delicious bacon. The staff was always very polite and went out of their way to say hello and be friendly.

It is a great hotel and convenient right off the highway traveling on 80 West. The staff was great, and the breakfast was one of the best for a US hotel inclusive breakfast.
