We made the mistake of staying on a Saturday night. It was quite noisy from the bar below and there was no space in the restaurant for us to have dinner.

Stayed for 2 nights. Great hotel, very clean and the staff were fantastic. Breakfasts freshly cooked were great. Also the food in the restaurant was very good. Kelso is a great base for travelling around the Scottish Borders. Will definitely stay again

Nice hotel but rooms 6 was small and warm and window open on to alleyway with bins so was a lot of fly's bar and lounge small and busy overall ok stay staff were lovely.

An OK hotel
The hotel was adequate, Clean, friendly and reasonably comfortable. A rubber mat in the shower would have been good as I found it difficult not to slip. and the food was good but more attention to quality rather than quantity is needed.

Situated in the center of Kelso the Queens Head is in the perfect location for the area attractions. The staff were attentive, solicitous and helpful. The room was well appointed and very comfortable. The hotel was very clean. The breakfast was substantial and delicious. Dinner in the bar was very noisy but the staff obliged me moving to a quieter table.
