This Ryokan was amazing. The staff were welcoming and gracious. The rooms are huge and traditional japanese style with futons and tatami mats. Each room had its own separate hot spring bath as well as separate men's and women's shared baths. The food was delicious and filling. It is located in a great small town nestled in a mountain valley. A quiet respite from the big city. Would definitely stay again!
It was a great experience. Nice big, very traditional rooms, with two private onsens and a private patio/garden. It was very warm and comfortable and had everything needed. I really loved relaxing in the onsen and enjoying the garden view and feeding the koi fish.
This beautiful property is located within walking distance of the Kawazu station and the sakura festival. The service was excellent and our detached room felt like a private home. We had a huge koi pond off the balcony (they even provided fish food), a private outdoor bath, as well as an indoor onsen. We had dinner delivered to our room and it was amazing! 5/5 stars!!!
Wonderful place. However they used to serve the meals in the room and now they serve them in a dining room. This unfortunately makes it less perfect that it used to be.
Small ryokan with friendly staff and spacious rooms in separate cabins. Private indoor/outdoor onsen provides a good option to the public onsen. Kaiseki meals were excellent. Kawazu 7 Falls is a must see in this area.
