Wonderful stay! Great location for exploring the city. Breakfast is also very convenient with plenty of food options. Was glad there is heat in room for cold nights. Truly excellent hotel at a super affordable rate!!!!

This is a great place! The staff for the breakfast and supper were fun and couteous. I enjoyed their laughter each morning. The room was very comfortable. It stayed chilled during the hot of the day. I thoroughly enjoyed my balcony as well.

Well placed in the Thamel area of Kathmandu to walk to most of the major tourist sites. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Excellent free buffet breakfast. Free storage for your suitcases when you head off trekking. Lovely garden oasis with waterfall that has a full restaurant and bar. What's not to like? Stayed here on three separate occasions during my 3 weeks in Nepal. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Rooms were clean and tidy. Hotel is a bit tired but OK. Nice garden area. Only downside is lack of elevators, I had fifth floor room which was a trudge to get to. Overall very good value for money.

Welcome to the Very Best Marrigold Express!! This is a wonderful little hotel. The staff are wonderful. The location is fantastic. This is a gem, its off the road and has a little hidden garden, which is the best retreat in this crazy city. The property was clean. However the black mould in the bathroom had us on alert. Also was surprised to see slide locks on all the doors, not actual proper door locks and lashes, there was no chain or equivalent on the main door. We did however feel safe there, its more of a first impression that never leaves you!

This place stands out because the staff seem genuinely happy! The manager is very friendly and has excellent local knowledge, booked a great trip for me- everything was taken care of. The breakfast here is best I’ve experienced in any hotel, wide variety catering for western and eastern tastes. There was a slight hiccup with airport transfers fat was managed quickly and very satisfactorily😊

A perfect place to stay in Kathmandu.
This place offers an amazing sanctuary from the craziness of Tamel and Kathmandu. You can’t hear the traffic from the garden for when you have had enough of it! The food and drink is good and reasonably price and the staff are wonderful and want you have a good time in Nepal. I have made subsequent bookings as I return to Kathmandu after various trip away.

The property itself is excellent. The staff is always ready to listen, communicate and assist you. They walk miles extra to find the best way to satisfy the customer. There is lovely restaurant with a waterfall, decorated with plants for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
