The hotel and property are wonderful. My only issue was the beds. They are uncomfortable. If that doesn’t worry you know that the grounds and beach area are top notch.

The newly renovated rooms are very comfortable, with quiet split-level AC, premium bathroom products and very comfortable and stylish furnishings. The mattress was very comfortable. The parking is quite difficult, given the extremely narrow stalls.

We loved our stay at the kauai shores hotel. The property is located right next to a beach and almost feels private. Really good staff and service. The rooms were well lit and spacious. We got the one with the kitchenette and it had a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and toaster. Would have liked a small stove but that was not there. Had a small sink as well and some basic dishes like spoons, forks, plates, cups and bowls. Room was cleaned regularly and the shopping complex next door is pretty good for food options and shopping. The pools are heated and the beach has some loungers as well. The restaurant at the hotel played live music which was very nice. The hotel also offers bike rentals which was quite cool. We would appreciated umbrellas for the beach but thankfully it was not very hot and sunny while we stayed. Overall a beautiful stay and we highly recommend. We would love to come back and stay here again. Great place for a family to chill and enjoy.

The Beach Restaurant is a bit overprized and the Beach is not a typical Hawaiian Beach, but clean! Property itself well maintained. Free Parking is very limited!

Amazing Second Stay

This was my second time staying at Kauai Shores and it was just as fantastic as my first stay. The staff was extremely attentive and accommodating. I cannot express how amazing it was to be right on the beach, have free bike rentals, beach towels, pool and hot tub access all in one place. The hotel is walking distance to several restaurants and the Coconut Marketplace and access to tourist excursion services. I came for a solo trip but there were many families having a great time. This will always be my first choice when coming back to the beautiful island of Kauai. Thank you to everyone at Kauai Shores for giving me another incredible stay.

The parking was a bit of a nightmare, the parking spaces are for smart cars at best. They do offer valet. The property is lovely and well taken care of, the beds and bedding were like a dream. Since I slept well, (really well) I would stay here again in a heartbeat. It was our 25th wedding anniversary trip and we were given a nice upstairs room (as we requested) that saw a bit of the ocean.
