Monopoly Room
When we booked at Hotels.com, we booked the Luxury Family Suite for 3 people. When we checked in at the hotel, we were given a Monopoly game room which is a room with a giant monopoly floor instead of any seating/sofa or luggage racks. We tried to exchange to a different room, but the front desk kept telling me this is the room I booked and refused to switch. So be aware that when you book a luxury family suite on hotels.com, that instead of a nice suite with a seating area, this is a room with an impractical monopoly board with no seating/sofa/table or luggage storage.

Perfect hotel with perfect rate!
We love the hotel! It is very convenient and near to the night market. The rooms are enormous and the beds are huge and very comfortable. We will definitely stay here again id given another chance to go back to Kaoshiung, not to mention the price!

The rooms in this hotel are very large and provide lots of space for young children to play. The 3rd floor has laundry and 3 play areas for children (art/free play, sand box, and ball pit). In addition there are also some rides and toy capsule machines. Due to a recent typhoon, our original room was not available so we had to be upgraded to the rooms available. We were advised that there was free breakfast included for our entire booking but the following morning, we were told only one room out of 2 would receive breakfast. We had to wait for the manager to come in the afternoon to rectify the situation. Then our entire booking party was able to enjoy breakfast together for rest of the week. One inconvenience for a family was there is no available microwave to use. The front desk said if we need to microwave to warm up food, we could bring it to them and ask for help.

The hotel is very dirty, there’s mold under the sink and on the ceiling. There’s a smell on the floor hallway and room. The bed sheet has a yellow stain that looks like pee stain. We have pictures for proof. Overall, the quality and cleanliness is very bad, we do not recommend this hotel to anyone and would not come back.

The room is big for a family of four. It took about 8 minutes to walk to the nearest metro. The road is not good for taking large luggage. There are two lifts which are not big enough to serve the guests in peak hours. The buffet breakfast is good.
