We stayed at the Palms. Great Restaurants, great bar tenders, great room service. The rooms were outdated but big. The walls are hollow, so you can hear everything at night. The staff drives golf carts past guests on the guest walk ways, so it's kind of annoying. This resort has a beach night club every night until midnight that can be heard on the entire resort. Good beach, Free beach chairs and beach beds. Great resort for the price!

This property was very clean and well manicured. There is lots to do on the resort but we found that it was difficult to know about these activities. The confusing part was the food. We found it difficult to find food consistently as either there were extremely long waitlists for the restaurants or they were closed. One night the seaside buffet and Mediterranean restaurants were both closed. I think it is important to keep in mind that you are between Tulum and Playa Del Carmen so you need to take cabs (20-30min) to get to the towns and explore if thats what you’re into. Lastly the resort really caters to the preferences of their visitors, namely music and food! There was no Mexican music and the food was hit or miss. Additionally there are not as many parties and dancing like other resorts, again if that’s what you’re into. Overall very nice resort, would recommend if you just want to lay on a beach, drink and eat

Very nice resort and overall a great vacation experience. We had the more inclusive package. All food, drinks, minibar and room service were included but we did tip. Our room was nice, clean and comfortable. Staff around the resort work very hard to ensure guests have a great experience and keep the alcohol flowing. I was surprised at the quality of liquor available at the many beach bars and restaurants. The food was outstanding and you have some nice sit down dining options if you’re not a fan of buffets. Grab food from a beach grill or make a reservation for a top quality dinner. Only two of the many restaurants required reservations. The grounds are beautiful and the beach is pretty good - parts have restricted access to the ocean but just walk down a bit and grab a sunbed or cabana. We rarely used the many pools because the beach experience was so easy. I appreciated the evening entertainment- bands, DJs or shows. Overall I recommend this resort and would return. There were a few small inconveniences such as $40 for sunscreen at resort. The transfers to the airport were included but they sent us 5 hours before our flight. A catamaran snorkel trip is included which was fun - but you will also spend 4 hours of downtime on the beach. Pay attention when the travel guide explains the day. Bring a towel. The beach they take you to is lovely sugar sand and food & drink is included. We did pay extra for hydro therapy spa & beach massage at our resort which was nice!

I unfortunately got food poisoning and spent 8 days in my room. They were going to charge us for medication the dr prescribed even though they made me sick. Didn’t receive 100 us credit and my ocean view room had no ocean view

Half the staff tells you one thing and other tells you different. Spa staff will come around to try to sell you packages during breakfast, while laying out on beach and walking. Very obnoxious. The catamaran ride was great which was free. Maid staff never had a certain time- 7:30am, 8:30pm non stop. I ran back to room, didn’t hear women come in and I literally got scared thinking someone broke into room(husband was at bar). And everyday including the last 10 minutes waiting for cab, they continued to try to sell their memberships which is their version of time share.

Very nice property, I liked that it was a lot of shade on the beach, many palm trees, Bali beds, palapas, nice gardens, good services. Our room was in building 37, renovated room. The only things that need improvement is the buffet food in the morning especially, more variety needed!

We came to this resort for our honeymoon two years ago and had a wonderful time! We decided to come back for our second year anniversary and stay on the Palms side of the resort because we love the beauty of the Palms and the beach it offers. We have a had an amazing trip yet again! One of our truly favorite parts this year was all of the amazing staff we met. Can I just say you will find no better staff than at this resort! Wow! We absolutely LOVED meeting Benjamin. He is so outgoing, friendly, and soooo funny! We are so thankful we met him! His co-worker Luana is also amazing at pool volleyball, thankful for her skills on our team! I’d also like to call out more entertainment staff- Angel, Alexandro, and Maria were always great at inviting us to various activities. Loved painting my flower pot! And glad they encouraged us to play volleyball because that was also really fun! Jose & Luis gave us salsa dancing lessons which was also a great time. Timburcio is our favorite bartender, we frequently saw him at the swim up bar near us- he’s great! And last but not least, Karla, our concierge - request her to be yours! She is amazing! The beauty of this resort is breathtaking, but the staff make it a truly beautiful place. The weather wasn’t what we planned this time, but it really made us get to know more people and we are so thankful for that. It made this trip even more special! ❤️

Property itself is beautiful and well manicured/maintained. Evening shows were great but there isn’t any daytime entertainment. Sky massage was incredible. Tomahawk dinner was excellent. Dining options were extremely limited as it seems there is not enough staff to operate any of the restaurants even at mid capacity. Restaurant and bar staff are extremely rude and univiting. 2 Cockroaches in the room but we were unable to switch rooms as we were told “half of the resort rooms are not open or ready for guests”. The following day the entire 3500-3700 blocks of rooms were fumigated. The “more inclusive” is a bait and switch. None of the mentioned included activities are available on the property but are located 1.5 hours away and you will be gone for over 10 hours. A nice relaxing time with my husband and our parents but none of us would return.
