My best friend was in an on-site conference, so I stayed a night to visit with her. First impression was everything that I was expecting out of a higher profile hotel like The Westin. Front desk was very friendly and welcoming and I had never seen my name on the tv before, so that was also great. The windows in my room were pretty dirty, but its from the outdoors, so I wasnt too upset at that. The staircase, however, smelled putrid, so not sure how that happened. I enjoyed the ease of shopping and how close everything is. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would stay again if given the opportunity. That being said, for being a 4 star hotel, I don't think the nightly price is worth what they're asking for the fact that the staircase smelled SO BAD. Next time I stay, I will definitely try to absorb more of the atmosphere. I am willing to change my rating if I have a better time overall.

Always a good experience.
My favorite hotel in KC. Beautiful views fro both sides. Nice spacious rooms. Staff is friendly and welcoming. The bar was open late. Staff was exceptional. Prices were average. Pool and hot tub need a good cleaning. The deck was clutter free, but you could tell it was time for some tile scrubbing. We will always stay in this hotel if it is available.

The Westin is comfortable, quiet, conveniently located near the stunning historic Union Station ( featuring Harvey’s restaurant for breakfast and lunch, as well as the upscale Pierponts) I highly recommend the Westin at Crown Center with its boutique shops, friendly staff and overall relaxed ambiance.
