This hotel was chosen for a softball tournament and I was just tailing along. Although it was quite far from where they were playing, in Overland Park, the hotel is in a nice somewhat quiet area that includes the lake on Bass Pro drive. We enjoyed a leisurely walk around the lake. There are lots of restaurants in the area. The softball girls took advantage of the indoor/outdoor pool area.

I received a room upgrade. The room was very clean and comfortable (spacious room) with a view of a small lake off the balcony. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful - excellent customer service. I will definitely stay at this property again when visiting KC.

Customer service was ok nothing good nor bad to note. Continental breakfast was better than expected. Many different options to choose from. Room was showing signs of age and neglect. We also found an old bowl of cereal under the bed at the end of our stay. The rooms were clearly not cleaned very well.

The pond and trail behind the property is very nice. The room we stayed in was probably one of the least well kept rooms I’ve ever stayed in. Even the coffee maker was dusty!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Stoney Creek Hotel. We were in town for a weekend of baseball, and the hotel is less than 15 minutes from the stadium for the Royals. Nice rooms, quiet area, and plenty of close dining options.

We love Stoney creeks!

The room was nice and clean! The hotel itself is in a great location not far from the highway with a beautiful view outback where you can walk a nice trail by some water. The bar was such a great vibe. Had cornhole and pool table. Cheap drinks ! A menu to order food! The staff was super nice The pool room was not as nice as other Stoney creeks we’ve stayed at. It was very plain and small. But we were thankful it was clean and an option to use regardless. We liked the indoor/outdoor pool how you could swim under from one side to the other. No complaints Would stay again!
