The the things I did not like did not outwiegh what worked for this stay. The king size bed was not centered on the room. Leaving less than a foot to get out of the bed on that side. That was a trick. The shower/tub combination was small and the tub was slick. Thankfully they put a roll up non slip mat in the bathroom and had grab bars galore. The shower was on a slide bar. Unfortunately the slide bar was mounted low. The head hit me in the neck. I'm 6ft tall. It was clean, mostly quiet and the breakfast was decent. The location was perfect, making the entire KC area within an hour or so drive. From past Lee's Summit to Overland park the to Blue Sripngs and Liberty. If not for what I mentioned it wouldbe 5 star.

We traveled to Kansas City for the first time and were excited to explore. We attended the Italian Festival, spent the night at this hotel, and visited the City Market on Sunday. We specifically chose this room because it featured a sofa bed and two queen beds — ideal for our group. However, the experience was disappointing from the start. There was no bedding provided for the pullout sofa, so I went to the front desk to ask. The staff handed me a single sheet and a worn-out blanket, with no pillows. When I requested more pillows, the front desk clerk rudely told me, “Each bed has four pillows — you’ll have to share.” I was too tired to argue, so I let it go, but it left a bad impression. Sleeping was another issue. The outdated air conditioner was extremely loud, making it impossible to sleep with it on. I had to turn it off, but the room became uncomfortably hot — a true nightmare. Breakfast the next morning didn’t redeem the stay. The potatoes were undercooked, the one waffle machine (serving a room full of guests) wasn’t working properly, there wasn’t enough coffee, and the biscuits ran out quickly. The pool was also a letdown — cloudy and oddly salty. To top it all off, there weren’t enough towels for the four of us, and the shower drain was clogged. Unfortunately, this experience has completely turned me off from Wyndham Hotels

Breakfast was delicious and I liked the area- it was a nice and quiet place. However, TVs need to be updated (mine was kind of blurry, and was told it was due to it being old) , also the however heads- it was difficult to wash my hair. Other than that, it was a good place to stay for the weekend.

Do not fall for the good reviews of this property. I can only imagine that they were left by the people that were partaking in the pot that caused the smell that permeated the ENTIRE floor. You can't smoke cigarettes without a $300 fine (non smoker) but you can smoke marijuana? The good- coffee was good and the bed was comfortable.
