Poor customer service!

My flight was delayed and I wasn't sure when I would be checking in to the hotel. I called from the airport to let them know that I was stranded but would be there the next day to check in and to not cancel my room reservation for the next 3 days. The person taking the message was talking to someone else and I had to repeat myself multiple times. He said he would make a note. The next day when I went to check in at the hotel they didn't have my reservation and said I was a no show. I explained that I had called and spoken to someone who was not paying attention. I was told I would have to pay extra because they had to make a new reservation. I am not happy with this hotels customer service and I should not be charged extra for their mistake.

The good: comfortable bed close to what I was in town for which was an event at Longview Lake. Also, Ati at the front desk was fantastic. Close to the highway, but that meant the highway noise was a factor when trying to sleep. The bad: Had to turn on the shower 2-3 minutes early to build up enough water pressure to actually wash off soap or shampoo. The laminate floors in the room were filthy even after they came back in to wipe them down “with hot water”, we had to wear shoes in the room. Walls are thin, we heard the rooms next door all night. Also, since there’s only 1 elevator, we use the steps, and the cleaning crew clearly does not consider whether their carts are blocking the stairway access or not. I will not be a repeat guest.

The property is in a great location...easy to get to and from. Our only issue was the traffic noise from the loop right next to the property. After the 1st night though, it became more like having a sleep machine...lol

Our stay was Good, I say good because the staff need to do a double check on the cleaning in the bathroom mainly in the showers. I not going to say what was in it, it just need to double checked on the shower floors. Bed was comfortable super clean in the bed the sitting area. Love the Lady at the front desk! This place is disgusting…There was blood on our bedding, they wouldnt come to our room to get it…Had to take it to the front desk ourself..Given bedding with large holes in it..Shower didn’t work properly..eggs, sausage and gravy in the breakfast was gross…Staff had major additide problems, probably because they are way understaffed…This is the first bad review i think i’ve left a business in my life…If this hotel is your only option, just sleep in your car!!..wish i could give it 0 stars!!!
