I reserved the Truman suite. The house has been converted into multiple suites. And is on the hill over looking one of the lakes and campground. Giving a nice morning view of the surrounding area. There is a store on site that has pizza delivery! As well as provisions and basic repair items for campers and RVs. Area is secluded and nicely wooded. The AC and heat work wonderfully, the TV had all the apps to use, and had a good selection of channels. An actual useable kitchen was nice.The suite which was as large as advertised had more than enough room for everyone. The furniture was soft and comfy.
My few complaints. The floors in the kitchen had spots that were sticky. and some of the walls had drip stains on them. Carpet in the bathrooms leading all the way up to the jacuzzis in both rooms.
This has nothing to do with the resort itself, after the store closes there is no staff that I am aware of, the group staying in another suite in the house, had a loud party until about 2 in the morning. Their trucks running and music blaring. Motorcycles coming and going and just loud chatter, and even heard a couple children crying... At 2 am. I had to open a window in the bedroom and ask them to quiet down, or would have to call the cops. Some of them were not happy. But did oblige and a few of the extra cars left.
