I loved the bath facility at the top of the building and also the special soaking tub in my room. they have a policy of only giving one key and my daughter was staying on a different floor and we couldn't visit each other because of this policy. I understand it was for security, but they could have made an exception.

The room was small but comfortable. It was clean, modern and a small table with 2 chairs in the room. We found the breakfast buffet not worth the price. It did have many traditional choices but not many western choices.

Very clean and nice room. Hotel located 1.5km from Kanazawa Station (about 20 minutes walking distance). Clean hot spring facility on the top floor. Recommend stay.

Immaculate
We came here 5 years ago and came back. I believe the hotel is 6 years old. Immaculate! Neat, clean, nicely decorated, quiet. AC or heat responds in a snap, which makes the room very comfortable. Plenty of hot water. Lots of electrical outlets. Blackout curtains. Comfortable beds and pillows. Rooms on small side vs US hotels. The breakfast buffet is incredible. Beyond the croissant, yogurt, and cereal is a selection of Japanese items that you must try. For example there is a mochi rice ball, with sweet red bean filling that is coated in kinako, a roasted sweetened ground soy bean. Very traditional Japanese that you will love. The other Japanese selections are to die for. Maybe 25 different things that you eat with rice. Once you try it you’ll forget the fruit and toast. I would expect to pay twice as much for my room and breakfast. Enjoyed out stay here so much I booked a sister Mitsui Garden hotel in Tokyo and cancelled my other reservation. Quiet, comfortable luxury in a great location
We had a great 2 night stay. The hotel was very nice - lobby area was very luxurious and welcoming. The room was comfortable, spacious, and quiet. Location was good for walking to most things (we don’t mind walking), with food and drinks nearby and plenty of 247 convenience stores. In room safe was a bit too small, but that’s the only thing I can think of that could be improved. We had a great stay and would be happy to return.

I felt like they had a lot of rules to follow and were not accommodating to each guest request. I came to the hotel two hours early in the middle of a rain storm. I asked for early check in, or a place I could change and relax out of the rain and they denied me. I found out later they had a mineral bath & showers they could have offered guest traveling from all over the world. You can’t always control all circumstances in international travel and I would have appreciated a little kind gesture.

Lobby and exterior looks nice but felt it was a bit overpriced for the size of the room. Onsen was smaller (and views were not that great) compared to what the pictures show. Parking was also not straightforward.

The good:- Large room Public baths not busy, open all night Best buffet breakfast Happy hour cheap drinks $5.50 cad Helpful staff The bad:- No onsite parking, there’s one at the back of the hotel on a slope for 24hrs $13cad, no in and out The AC has a musty smell, maybe it’s just too humid these days Will recommend this hotel.

Enjoyed our stay. Hotel is new and while rooms are small they are well designed, clean and modern. Friendly staff. Liked the spa on top floor. Really great value.
