I thought there was a level of suitability before Days Inn & Suites would allow anyone to use their name. This place fails in every category. I call it false advertising on Expedia. Don’t be “catfished” by the pictures. It is run by first and second generation foreigners (who don’t use deodorant, and some that don’t speak English). Ironically ….. the parking fills up 3/4’s each of the 3 nights we were there. Yes, it’s affordable. The dog hair in the hallway and in my room got wrapped around the wheel axles of my roller Igloo. Cookies crumbs on the room carpet. Toilet that someone tried to unclog with a metal plumbing snake & scarred / marked up the porcelain bowl badly. Ants ….. ants in the bathroom floor, ants on the bathroom vanity. The mattress had two divits the length of bodies. One of the couch cushions was turned around, zipper side out, for some reason I didn’t check. The curtains catch all the a/c air. The ice maker in our building stayed broke, the ice maker in the adjacent building worked but the exterior door broke & was tied shut from the inside by an electrical extension cord. There’s more but here’s the gist of it. It’s old and rundown and unkept. Oh and the swimming pool is empty & needs repairs.

Cost too much for super hard uncomfortable beds, worn tub and sink, and furniture that needed replacing. Room smelled strongly of bleach and wasn't aired out, made the stay uncomfortable.

Adequate simple motel with normal amenities. Free parking and coffeemaker and fridge in room. When I made the reservations, I noted they had a heated pool. When I got there the pool was not in service. When I said something about this, he said it is on their website. When I booked, there was no mention of this plus when I checked on their website, it says Our hot tub is closed until further notice. We thank you for your understanding. No mention of the pool.

We had an overall decent stay at this property. The Good: ✅ The Price: Weekday rates were quite reasonable. However, I personally wouldn’t find it worth paying $150+ per night. ✅ The Breakfast: A good variety of options including a waffle maker 🧇 with 🍁syrup, juice 🥤, bread 🍞 with jam and butter 🧈, ham, eggs, and coffee. It’s a satisfying breakfast to start your day, and the 6:00 AM start time is definitely a plus for early travelers. The (Not So) Bad: ⚠️ Microwave: The in-room microwave seemed outdated, possibly from the 1960s, and we struggled to heat food properly, taking about 5 minutes to barely warm a meal. ⚠️ Bathroom: While generally clean, the toilet bowl had visible stains likely due to long-term use, which was a bit disappointing. ⚠️ Air Conditioning: The room had an AC unit, but it wasn’t very effective at cooling. This could be uncomfortable if visiting in the hotter months of June, July, or August. In summary, it was a decent experience, and I would consider staying here again if I can secure a similar price.

Check in was frustrating because the desk clerk spoke fast and softly. After telling him repeatedly I didn’t understood what he said, he made no effort to speak up or enunciate more clearly. The back entrance to this property was cluttered with trash. The mat was torn to shreds and the entry to the door was full of goat head thorns that got in our dogs feet and coated the bottoms of our shoes, ensuring that they were carried into the room and got imbedded in the carpet. This entry, which we were instructed to use, clearly had not been cleaned up in a very long time. Pillows looked like they took old shreaded foam and sewed them into a pillow case. Lastly I was awakened in the night to a very foul chemical smell, which I later learned was probably someone smoking crack. I would not recommend this property to anyone.

Clearly, this is a low cost option in Kanab, and it was full. However, it is an older motel that has not been renovated... (e.g., light switches loose/broken, tub/shower handle loose to the point of not working, door veneer peeling, etc.). There was a breakfast, but limited (has a waffle station). It is walkable to a few restaurants and a small museum.

This place is going downhill usually we love this place. It seems though lately nobody cares about the appearance of the place. I tried to add photors but couldn't. The back entrance door had trash and tunnle weeds all over. At least they did finally put a lock on that door that is accessible with just a room key for security. And this place lists an elevator. There is no elevator in the south building just the north building with the big parking lot. Other than that the beds are comfy and clean and this place has hot water if all the other guets dont decide to shower at the same time.
