Upon checking in I was advised that my room was already known to not have any heat. But worry not, they took the liberty to put a space heater in the room. The room was, as they stated, very cold. Why would they not change my room?? No idea but it was too late to argue or try to find another room elsewhere. I had no idea where to park so I ended up parking in a parking lot for over $20 so I was just wanting to sleep. The bed was ok, questionable linens. The bathroom is terrible. It’s in disrepair, drywall mud all over it. The floor is cracked apart, the toilet wan less, and the shower needs a serious cleaning. Went to bed only to be woken about every 10 minutes from “neighbours” going to their rooms and slamming doors and yelling. I will not stay at this property again and really think about Wyndham if this is the quality they will accept under their brand

Beautiful historic building with lots of character. Check in was easy. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Music in lounge was loud. Bring ear plugs. My room was near the elevator and was audible when in use. Breakfast was excellent. Great location downtown. Staff all pleasant. Great stay.

Price point stay. You get what you pay for, and the night was cheap. Not sure if there is any cleaning on the property. Behind the TV, besides the bed, and in the bathroom were several areas cleaning and/or dusting has not occurred. The toilet was dirty, pee stains on the toilet seat and lovely long hair between the toilet and the shower. Again, proper cleaning of the room has not occurred for some time. The property is extremely old, which provides a great vibe actually, but the filth is unfortunate. The breakfast is fair, simple, self-serve and in a room that turn into a bar at night. Parking besides the property isn’t bad, about $8 for the night, outside. The hotel will charge you but it’s cheap compared to most hotels where parking is not included. The location of the hotel is smack downtown, which comes with downtown pros and cons.

The hotel is unique. Shower worked great. The heat system (I am assuming it was the heat rattling) is noisy while sleeping. Being located downtown next to a liquor store attracts outdoor clientele that makes one feel uncomfortable when outside in the dark which is when I arrived.

I like that this hotel is right in the downtown, so you can go walking everywhere, there is many places where to have dinner and buy some gifts or groceries. It is clean and comfortable 😌

Staff were nice, location was very convienent to dining and grocery store. Shower in room was still kinda dirty once I got in, and the room walls were not soundproof at all. It was super noisy and there was a weird constant dripping noise from above the room. Overall was an OK stay for 3 nights.

Decent… but not likely to stay again. Mainly due to the inconvenient parking situation. The breakfast was also quite disappointing, with very limited options and no fresh fruit, yogurt or tea selection. Comfy enough, but could hear other guests dogs barking.

Hotel itself was good. A nice historic building with a unique elevator. Breakfast buffet was nice with good options for food. Unfortunately the transient population around the area was concerning and the parking was outside and not secure.
