- The room was not clean. The carpet stunk. - The lavatory was clogged. - The room I booked was not given to us. We booked for Queen beds, they give us a room with Double beds. - The room photo is very different from what it actual is- They said they refunded me $30 because of these issues three weeks ago, but I still don't have it.

Comfortable stay

Slept like a log. Despite being by a main road, it was a quiet stay. Was able to relax. When I asked for an extra night and extra coffee/sugar; the assistants were friendly and courteous.

Our room smelled of marijuana the minute we walked into the room, I went to the front desk to ask for another room, there was only a room with 1 queen bed available, we required 2 beds. I wasn’t able to access wifi at any time, the Howard Johnson network wouldn’t even show as available, on either my iPad or cell phone. The bathtub was chipped in several places, so that didn’t exactly scream clean to me. And to top it off, the hair dryer didn’t work. I made sure it was plugged in properly and that the emergency breakers weren’t tripped. We originally booked for 2 nights, but we weren’t comfortable staying another night. Since I made the booking through Expedia I did reach out to them in regards to a refund for the 2nd night.

Hotel called and cancelled our room at 3 pm the day of our check in, due to electrical issues in the room. Did not offer us another room or any considerations on rebooking in the future. It didn’t seem like a big deal to them.

We have been there for 4 days, and there was no internet, no WiFi signal on the hotel. The staff keep saying that the internet will be back, but it never happens. The sink was extremely slow when you brushed your teeth, the water was there for a long, long time. Do not go through.

The property is in a state of severe disrepair, resulting in one of my most unpleasant experiences. The odor is extremely unpleasant and overwhelming. Additionally, there are numerous dead birds found on my bedroom door, which is highly disturbing.

Super accommodating staff

The hotel itself is a bit run down but the service is excellent. Aman (staff) offers his personal hair dryer when we needed one. He goes up and beyond just a staff, he is very accommodating, nice and friendly. Continental breakfast is also better than expected.

There was no internet available. The free breakfast had signs up saying yogurt and fruit….. there wasn’t any. The front desk couldn’t tell me how much my card was charged for the room and I never received a receipt from the third party billing. The staff acted like it was everyone else’s problems but theirs.

The staff here are excellent and are helpful especially when I had a large truck to park and some concerns. However, the room is meant to be non smoking but it smells so strongly of cigarettes that it is difficult to breath especially with allergies.
