The lady at the front desk was kind & helpful upon check-in. I had a long vehicle & she made sure that i was going to have a parking spot i was comfortable with. Unfortunately, 1 of these spots was by the building next door, which looks very rundown and sketchy. There were pickets broken out of the fence & broken appliances. I chose the spot next to the office. I went upstairs to my room. I had booked the only room available that had two beds, a king & a double sofa bed. I asked that the second bed be made up when i made my booking. Upon approaching my door i noted many coffee cans and run down chairs placed outside each room. At least, they are providing a spot for smokers. I entered my room, it was large. I went to lock the door and the room lock (pin with swinging hook) was broken the metal lock had the pin broken off! Carpets are stained, moulding is bashed with chipped paint, same with the furniture, empty picture hooks, where a picture once hung, coffee cups but no coffee maker., but hopefully the bed is comfy! I opened the sofa bed, there wasnt even a sheet on it.. and it was a single, my kid is 6'2..
I at 60 ended up sleeping with a top sheet and a pillow from the king bed. The king bed had a torn fitted sheet and blanket and 3 pillows. I looked in the drawers but there was no other bedding and i was too exhausted to walk down to the office. We made do. at 9am someone walked into our room, then at 930. At 815 the breakfast had no coffee, bread to toast, juice boxes
