Comfortable and clean.
The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. From my room on the balcony I had a good view going all the way to the beach. Breakfast was great, especially the local sweets. The staff were friendly and always helpful. There are a few cafes and coffee shops around the hotel and about a 10 minute drive to Kalamata, however I was able to find a few nice restaurants near the beach, which was about a 5 minute drive.

Comfortable family run inn
Short drive to a lovely sandy beach -Boucha beach. Manager extremely pleasant and helpful. Continental breakfast was nice. We ate at Kalamata in the evenings which is a 15 -20 min drive. There are restaurants in Messini which is a shorter drive but we didn’t try them out.

We were heading towards Athens from the western Peloponnese and did not want to get snarled up in city traffic - the hotel is located very conveniently outside the main part of Kalamata but also very easy to get onto the Athens motorway. The hotel is very comfortable and clean, the staff very welcoming helpful and friendly and the breakfast really good value at 5 euros. Easy to park just outside the hotel too.

My wife and I stayed at the Kleopatra Hotel for one night on our way around the Peloponnese. The hotel was comfortable and clean, and the staff at the counter was friendly and helpful with the questions we had.

An unexpected pleasure in a smaller town.
Driving through the town we were skepticle about what to find at the Kleopatra Hotel. Even the sign for the hotel is older and could use a facelift. Inside everything was new renovations, clean and the friendliest multi lingual person at the desk. Demitri did a great job getting us settled and recommended the local taverna for dinner which was delicious. They had the best Greek Salad that we had during our 10 days.

Good Hotel for Budget Travelers
Hotel was clean and everything worked well. The only thing it did not have is cable TV with English channels because most people that stay at this hotel are not from the USA. The hotel was approx. 5 minutes from the Kalamata Airport. The main Beach are was approx. 15 minutes from the Hotel. We had a rental car so it was easy to get to the Main Beach. Good accomodations for the price and it included breakfast. For those that are not so adventures by car, it would be best to stay at hotels at the beach, but you will pay at least double if not triple.
