From the phone call we made to Faye to confirm the morning of the check-in date, to the actual check-in experience with Pam & Sherri, we felt like we were very important to the staff and treated very kindly & professionally. They even had us take a group photo with them, gave us a special discount at the next door restaurant, Tanto's, and upgraded our room at no extra cost. They even made special animal characters with towels, set up on the bed and furniture. The room was very clean and comfortable. If we had to suggest anything, it would be to increase the lighting in the kitchen a little. They also gave us a later checkout. Thank you girls at Maui Seaside Hotel for a wonderful close to our week in Maui....wish we had stayed all seven days with you instead of the Hilton.

Nice older property that is convenient to the airport. Breakfast ($) was good. Hotel is nothing fancy but has everything you need. Beds were comfy, grounds were well kept.

We thought the hotel was nice and we enjoyed our stay overall. The staff were excellent. Once the remodel is done, I'd likely change my overall score to a 5. It's a nice central location to great food and everything the island has to offer. If we did a longer stay again next time, we'll likely stay in the Kihei or Ka'anapali areas as there is much more to do in walking distance. While the hotel grounds were very nice, it wasn't particularly lovely to look out into a shipping yard and other industrial happenings. The water pressure in the shower could be vastly improved, the rainfall shower head is completely useless. The pool, while nicely renovated, is incredibly small and only briefly offers any form of entertainment. Overall, I would be delighted to stay here again for a short stay.
