Room was clean and quiet. Good price for a quick overnight stay. The girl at the front desk wasnt to overly friendly, but i guess a working body is a working body. Breakfast area was super clean and well stocked.

Bait and switch! Terrible customer service!
We booked a smoking room online but were told when we got there that they didn't have one available. Even though they didn't have the room we paid for they refused to give us a refund and were pretty non-apologetic about the whole thing. There was an absolutely overwhelming smell of chemicals and the beds were like sitting on plywood. Ultimately, we left and drove an hour down the road to a nicer hotel for half the money. They still refused to give us a refund even though we didn't stay, but hotels.com was awesome about it and gave us a credit anyway.

We arrived at 2am. There was an evelope with a key that said room one-twenty-five. We looked and there was not a room 125 in the hotel at America's Best value. No one picked up the phone number that was for after hours. Confused, we tried every room with a 1 and a 5 thinking they just made an error. 45 minutes later, we looked at the invoice that said Budget Inn, not America's Best. BUDGET INN WAS THE SCARY LOOKING HOTEL ACROSS THE STREET WHICH WE DID NOT RESERVE! The key worked there. The room smelled really stale and unpleasant. The next day we called and asked the manager for a refund as we did not book the Budget Inn. They refused because we slept in the room. There were no other alternatives in Kadoka SD at 3:30am. I would not recommend this hotel.
