No frills place for a decent stay

Very simple, no-frills place to stay. The rooms are in dire need of an upgrade. They are really big and clean enough. I think even just replacing the carpet and maybe a new color on the walls would go a long way in making this place feel fresher. I stayed here back in 2017 and the rooms are exactly as I remember them. It's conveniently right on the highway, but not loud.

Clean, Clean, Clean

We stayed here due the location and the price as it was reasonable. This motel was likely the cleanest motel I have ever stayed in. No stains, orders, etc. The property isn't new by any stretch of the imagination but it has been well taken care of. They like the rooms serviced daily, I believe this shows they take pride in what they have and offer.

Very old school hotel with actual key to the room. The decor is dated. The bed was firm, pillow was flat. Slept like a baby. Would stay here again for sure.

The motel is conveniently located close to the park entrance. The manager of the hotel was very friendly and even opened the pool for us. The pool was ice cold because it is still Spring, but it was good to jump in after a very hot day. We couldn’t seem to get the temperature of the room ride. It was rather warm and the blackout curtains didn’t work very well and it was too bright to sleep very well. Also, located near a noisy road.

The building is old, the couch was one I wouldn't sit on, and the pillows were like pancakes. We were there for 2 nights because it was close to our destination. I left a tip for the maid on night 1. When we went to bed on night 2, we found the blanket and bedspread had been pulled up to look like the bed was "made," but the sheets were all in a jumble underneath! TV worked good, and the wifi was fine.
