My experience at the Valada Hotel was very disappointing, mostly due to the poor service from the night desk staff. It started with discovering bed bugs in my first room. I was moved to another room immediately, but that second room had no network or Wi-Fi. When I reported it, the staff member said he would send someone, but no one ever came.
After 45 minutes, I went back to the desk and spoke to the manager, who told me the second room was the only one available. His solution was for me to sleep in that room while using the Wi-Fi from the first room. He also assured me that I would be moved the following morning.
The next day, I woke up at 8am and was told again that they were “working on it.” At 10am, I checked in for an update and was told I’d have a room in 30 minutes. An hour and a half later, I returned, only to find that the previous staff had left and the new staff apologized once again. However, I must admit that the morning staff was great.
Overall, the hotel failed to provide proper accommodations, and the staff repeatedly gave me empty promises instead of real solutions. I cannot recommend this hotel based on my experience.
